The Honorable Judge Gerald C. Jessop and Dr. Sylvia Vella

will address the topic of domestic violence, and present the legal and therapeutic implications of victims of severe domestic violence who recant their statements.

Sylvia Vella, Psy.D. is a San Diego Police Detective assigned to the Family Justice Center.  She assists survivors of family violence, sexual assault, and child abuse.
